The exhibition presents 19 works by David Drebin in which he depicts monumental city portraits. The works on display were created over a span of thirteen years (2006-2019) and are all connected by their dramatic iconography and grandeur in depicting historical and modern metropolises. On the occasion of this exhibition, the work Paris Nights will be shown for the first time. A number of David Drebin’s Cityscapes are represented in renowned international art collections and are exhibited worldwide. CAMERA WORK Gallery has represented David Drebin for over 20 years.

David Drebin’s visual language is reflected in his epochal panoramas. From Paris and Jerusalem to London and Hong Kong: the city panorama forms an almost endless projection surface. The artist invites the viewer to dream in the metropolises of this world and shows a special view of and into the cities. David Drebin is particularly interested in the cultural history of cities in the United States. In this context, he has created Cityscapes of Miami, San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles, among others.
A number of David Drebin’s Cityscapes are represented in renowned international art collections and are exhibited worldwide. CAMERA WORK Gallery has represented David Drebin for over 20 years.
