CAMERA WORK Gallery presents an exhibition featuring works by Christian Tagliavini and Eugenio Recuenco, bringing together two distinctive voices in contemporary photographic art.
The exhibition includes key works from both artists’ oeuvres as well as selected pieces being presented worldwide for the first time. While Christian Tagliavini distinguishes himself with meticulously composed imagery shaped by art historical references, Eugenio Recuenco unfolds an opulent, cinematic, and narrative-driven approach to photographic art.
In dialogue, the works reveal both their contrasts and their affinities: a consistent emphasis on staging the image and an exploration of identity, perception, and role. The exhibition is spatially structured, with works by Christian Tagliavini presented on the lower floor and works by Eugenio Recuenco on view on the first floor.
At the same time, the collaboration between KPM Köngliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin and Christian Tagliavini is presented to the public for the first time.
