Patrick Demarchelier

CAMERA WORK Gallery presents an exhibition dedicated to the renowned photographic artist Patrick Demarchelier, featuring over 40 works – including world-famous icons as well as previously unseen works.

Divided into two thematic chapters, fashion photography and portraiture, the exhibition reveals the œuvre of an artist who, like few others, unites elegance with profound expressiveness.

Demarchelier’s fashion works transform fabrics into sculptures of light and movement, while his portraits of personalities such as Julia Roberts, Paul Newman, and Demi Moore convey a deeply moving authenticity.

A special artistic partnership connected him with Christy Turlington – their collaborative works stand as milestones in fashion photography and symbols of timeless beauty.
Accompanying the exhibition, the photobook Patrick Demarchelier – Fashion Photographs Seen and Unseen (Rizzoli) will be published on September 9, 2025.
