The exhibition »The Kennedys Collection of CAMERA WORK« shows more than 70 world-famous historic photographs featuring John F. Kennedy, Jackie Kennedy and their family. Among the exhibited photographs there are, amongst others, striking works by Robert Frank, Elliott Erwitt, Mark Shaw, Louise Dahl-Wolfe, Steve Schapiro, and Yousuf Karsh.
Most works on view in the exhibition are part of the collection of CAMERA WORK AG, which owns the second biggest collection of works dedicated to the Kennedy family. It primarily features rare vintage photographs as well as personal items of the Kennedy family. From 2006 to 2019, a section of the collection was part of the permanent exhibition of the Museum THE KENNEDYS in Berlin.
