Terry O’Neill (1938-2019) is one of the most important classic portrait photographers in history, who had a major influence on the development of the art form. Famous for his iconic portraits of personalities such as Elizabeth Taylor, Brigitte Bardot, Elton John, Faye Dunaway, Roger Moore, Paul Newman and David Bowie, he succeeded in photographing the celebrity culture of the 1960s and 1970s in a way that helped shape the image of Hollywood’s Golden Years.
