The fourth part of the exhibition series »Beauty of Women« shows more than 40 selected works from over 60 years of photographic history. The exhibition explores the question of how the concept of beauty has been constantly developed and redefined in the course of art history. Beauty as an aesthetic quality – in addition to grandeur and elegance – undergoes a continuous change with expanding categories such as intellect, which the exhibition examines. Thanks to the aesthetic disposition, or in other words, the individual perspective of the viewer, a modern, open view of beauty facilitates a multi-faceted, multi-layered and inspiring exhibition.
