21.11.2026 – 16.01.2027
From November 21 2026, CAMERA WORK Gallery presents a major solo exhibition with 20 new works by David Yarrow. The selection brings together the two key themes of his work: »The Natural World« and »Storytelling«.
In »The Natural World«, David Yarrow captures the raw power and beauty of nature and wildlife. In »Storytelling«, he creates visual stories with the intensity of a film. In remarkable places around the world, he stages carefully composed scenes in which animals and people become the main characters. His photographs go far beyond simple documentation: they turn ways of life, cultural identities and historical myths into powerful images.
His latest works, such as »Cat On A Hot Tin Roof«, focus on lions and black panthers in South Africa. David Yarrow does not show them simply as wild animals, but as charismatic characters with a strong presence, so that his pictures become both nature photography and storytelling. In Tuscany, he creates cinematic scenes that capture Italian passion, pride and elegance.
Another focus of the exhibition is American cultural history, from the myth of the Wild West to scenes photographed on Wall Street and in Times Square in New York. For selected works, David Yarrow has once again worked with well-known personalities, including Erling Haaland and John McEnroe. Here, too, he combines strong personalities with cultural references.
