This year’s group exhibition Holy Highlights, taking place in December, is characterized by its balanced interplay of works in different styles. While the first two rooms focus on classical and contemporary portrait and landscape works, the upper exhibition rooms contain staged and surreal works.
The varied curation presents both well-known major works by selected artists as well as works that are being shown for the first time worldwide on the occasion of the exhibition. These include Vincent Peters’ Alexander McQueen and Deer I, David Yarrow’s Stop That Train and several portraits by Martin Schoeller from his Close Up series. Museum works by Albert Watson, Herb Ritts and Patrick Demarchelier are also part of the exhibition.
