Albert Watson (*1942 in Edinburgh) ranks among the most prominent classic photographers. He counts among the most famous fashion and portrait photographers in the world. Far over 250 cover pages of »Vogue« have been created by him so far. During his career he has developed a characteristic aesthetics and visual language that is unique. Moreover, Albert Watson became also famous for his complex photographs, combining different genres of still life, portrait, fashion, and landscape photography. His works are exhibited in prestigious museums and are part of prominent collections. Watson is working and living in New York.
